Position: Agricultural Investment Expert

Job Description

A Washington, DC-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to stimulating sustainable growth in the agricultural sector of developing and emerging economics seeks to recruit qualified candidates for its impending project.
Responsibilities:

• The Agricultural Investment Expert will oversee the Agricultural Investment Fund (Fund) which will support investments in portfolio companies through direct investment and funds which flow through financial intermediaries
• The Agricultural Investment Expert will oversee the Investment Committee which reviews and approves transactions proposed for financial support through the fund

Required Skills or Experience

• The Agricultural Investment Expert should have extensive experience in asset management, due-diligence, and investment tracking and reporting
• He/she should be familiar with USAID policies and procedures, the Ghanaian private sector, and the constraints related to agricultural finance
